Wedding Ceremony Ideas You Haven’t Seen Before

Creating a unique wedding ceremony space is often at the very top of a couple’s wish list. While we have all admired countless arches and arbours, we are delighted to present two completely fresh and innovative wedding ceremony ideas. Luxury destination wedding planner WEP in Provence and floral designer Florésie designed them both, using exquisite David Austin Wedding Roses at their heart.

We understand that you want a wedding that transcends the ordinary. One that reflects your discerning style and gives your guests an unforgettable experience. These two stunning ceremony spaces offer something truly unique and strikingly modern. Each one is a show-stopping focal point for the sacred moment when you say, “I do.”

Wedding Ceremony Inspiration: Linear Nature

This refined and modern wedding ceremony design embraces clean lines and contemporary symmetry. It offers an inspiring interplay of florals and architecture.

Set at Coquillade in Provence, a venue celebrated for its serene architecture and natural light, this ceremony draws inspiration from the linear nature of the space. The blush and ivory tones of Eugenie, Charity, and Purity are paired with abundant foliage. This fresh, tonal palette beautifully complements the light-flooded interior and reflects the surrounding landscape.

Stephanie from WEP in Provence arranged the seating catwalk-style, elegantly elongating the room and offering a subtle nod to the significance of fashion to modern couples. This unique format makes every entrance a moment, and every guest feels intimately part of the story.

Magnificent arches of verdant foliage and exquisite David Austin Roses soften the structured and angular layout. The result is a harmonious balance between architectural structure and natural beauty. These large-scale installations frame the moment you exchange vows as well as the breathtaking vista across the Luberon Natural Park.

The design team thoughtfully placed David Austin Roses between the catwalk seating. This ensures guests are not merely observers but are truly immersed in breathtaking design and the intoxicating scent of our roses. Imagine the perfume of Eugenie, Charity and Purity wafting through the air as you walk down the aisle. It is a sensory experience that elevates every moment.

Wedding Ceremony Ideas: The Garden Ceremony

WEP in Provence and Floreise thoughtfully created this romantic ceremony design in the lush gardens of Château La Tour Vaucros. The result is a ceremony that feels like it has grown organically in place, while masterfully accentuating the stunning natural surroundings. The chosen colour palette is deliberately radiant, featuring the creamy tones of Patience, Leonora and Bessie alongside warmer, vibrant hues of Juliet, Effie and Beatrice

A key design element of this garden wedding ceremony is its sculptural influence. Floral installations rise at the ceremony’s focal point, drawing the eye upwards and framing the couple against the dappled garden light. Florésie cleverly mirrored these graceful, undulating forms in the gentle curves of the floral-lined aisle from above. This thoughtful design creates a synergy across all photographs, whether captured from the ground or an aerial drone view.

Curved white rattan seating echoes the natural shapes of the floral design and overarching organic feel, creating visual rhythm from every angle and allowing guests to relax in comfort. From above, the ceremony reads like a garden painting, each detail balanced and harmonious. From the ground, it is tender and immersive. The arrangement of the David Austin Roses within this setting gives the impression that they are naturally growing within the garden, an authentic touch that speaks to the unparalleled quality and beauty of these exceptional blooms. The entire experience feels serene, thoughtful and grounded in nature and is undoubtedly a ceremony that guests will talk about for years to come.
